How many hours a week should I train for Pickleball?

updated on January 20th, 2023

This question was answered when I discovered the 10,000 hour rule. This rule states the key to success in any field is a matter of practicing a specific task for a total of 10,000 hours. In other words, as players we must train or play pickleball for at least 10,000 hours before we reach world-class status, the level of a MLP winner for example.

Of course what exactly you do in those hours is extremely important. You need a training plan for maximum effectiveness. To put it into perspective, practicing an average of 20 hours per week, three hours a day for 10 years adds up to 10,000 hours.

The goal of the Effective Pickleball training app is to allow you to have all the tools to train like a professional and reach that 10,000 hour milestone. Make your own personal training plan for your career.

Schedule dozens of exercises that will take you from beginner to pro-level even if you've never won a tournament before.

And for extra motivation, see how you compare against the rest of the effective Pickleball community.
