Ever noticed footballers legs shaped like this?
Because it is very common and it starts from young when footballers’ bodies are evolving.
Because while playing, everytime they pass or shoot, they’re putting pressure on one knee, creating an overload, and therefore changing the angle of their shin bone as it grows, causing their legs to grow outwards.
Research has even shown that teenagers who play football, have a 15 millimetre larger gap between their knees compared to those who don’t play.
But this, like many other things, will depend on your genes, how you play and how you look after your body.
