Why do footballers wear bras?

Well they're not actually bras, they are stats vests, which are worn underneath their kits to track their data.

In each vest, there are GPS tracking devices installed.

The GPS measures your average position through heat maps, the amount of sprints done, your speed, and your distance covered.

This provides the right information to strategise what a player must work on most both physically and tactically.

It’s a great tool for both players and coaches, and is now generally used by all pro clubs.
